Business Development of CutCommon
Project by Stephanie Eslake
National project based in Hobart, TAS
CutCommon editor Stephanie Eslake and deputy editor Lucy Rash will undergo a mentorship to build a business plan which will then be seed-funded by Arts Initiative Australia.
CutCommon is an online publication for emerging classical musicians. It has been active since 2014, and has fostered a community of young people working in classical music either as practitioners or in administration and management. It showcases the achievements of artists through interviews, reviews, and opportunities on a national scale. To create long-term sustainability, CutCommon will develop a business plan with the help of a mentor that will be executed as soon any seed-resources required are confirmed.
Arts Initiative Australia will place and support a mentorship program for Stephanie and Lucy to develop a business plan, and raise seed funding as required to develop CutCommon to its next stage.
