Call for initial project partners

What we're looking for

Arts Initiative Australia has just been established and we are looking for initial project partners which will enable us to kick off our fundraising efforts.

We're looking for projects that need;

  • mentorship (concept and business development)
  • non-immediate financial assistance

Note the application process is just an expression of interest answering these four questions;

  • What do you have in mind?
  • Why is it important to you?
  • How does your project build your capacity as an artist or to the arts at large?
  • Next Steps for your Project?

to apply, go to http://www.artsinitiativeaustralia.org/apply-for-funds/.

Deadline to apply to be a part of our initial fundraising drive is 7 April 2017.

More about us

We've been established by a board of young professionals who intend to either give or broker advice and fundraise for your project through their networks. We need your project registered with us so that we can promote donations of time and finance for you.

We will promote donations by consolidating a group of people interested in a deeper participation in arts and culture by holding social events targeted to younger professionals with an interest in the arts, and set up donations structures for them that suit their needs (I.e small monthly donations, pre-salary giving, or involving corporate sponsorship), as well as through media partnerships.

This support structure is for the independent sector, which is experiencing a tough time with public funding cuts, increase in red tape, high expectations from philanthropic community and corporate sponsors. Given this environment, projects we partner with aren't guaranteed funding, but we will work with you to build support.
